and granted and by these presents do give and grant unto the Said William Lee
A Tract of Land containing Two hundred Acres lying and being in Our County of
Chatham on the Lick Branch Waters of Haw River Beginning at A Stake on his
own Line in a Field Harpers Corner running Souh two hundred poles by Harpers
Line to a Post Oak thence East one hundred and Sixty three poles to a Post Oak
thence North one hundred and Eighty five poles to a Post Oak in Reuben Crows
Line thence West thirty four poles by Said Line to a Post Oak thence North
fifteen poles along Crows line to a Black Oak Lees Corner thence along his
line West one hundred and Twnty Eight poles to the first station as by the
plat hereunto annesed both appears Together with all Woods, Waters, Mines
Minerals, hereditaments and appurtenances to the Said Land belonging or,
Appertaining To hold to the Said William Lee his Heirs and assigns forever,
Yielding and paying to Us such sums of Money yearly or otherwise as Our,
General Assembly from Time to Time may direct Provided Always
that the Said William Lee shall cause this Grant to be Registered in the Regis=
ters office of Our Said County of Chatham within Twelve Months from the
date hereof otherwise the same Shall be Void and of no Effect
In Testimony whereof We have caused these Our letters to be made pa=
tent and Our great Seal to be hereunto offixed Witness Richard Caswell

hundred and Seventy Six poles along Crows line to a Black Oak thence North
Ninety Six and a Half poles to a Black Oak thence West one hundred and seventy
Six poles to a post Oak on his own Line thence South Ninety Six and a half poles
along his own Line to the first station as by the plat hereunto Annexed doth
Appear, Together with all Woods, Waters Mines. Minerals Hereditaments
