Ethel Young Edmonds described the location of the "Young Cemetery" - "Above Chatham Hill on R. 42 past Waddell's store on route to Bland - on right side of road past the Goodwill Baptist Church on left." [page 213 of "Smyth County, Virginia cemeteries" by Mack H & Kenneth L. Sturgill, Marion, Virginia, 1995.]
The Young Family Cemetery is across the street from this Goodwill Baptist Church - behind and beyond the sign a bit.
There is no sign of what was written on the old original tombstones under the holly tree.
